THE faces OF MEASURE V
My roots are in San Jose. I met my wife here and fell in love with its beautiful scenery, the diversity and all of the city’s activities. I don’t think it’s right housing costs are making it hard for veterans like me to own our own homes. And I don’t think it’s right so many veterans are living on our streets. Ten percent of San Jose’s homeless are veterans—even one is too high.
No one should be left without a home. I know San Jose can be a city that takes care of its residents. In the Marines we learn to take care of each other. We should take care of each other at home too. We can make room for veterans by voting yes on Measure V.”
